No matter how big or small your mailing list is or even how well known your company is, you will always have subscribers who do not open or click on your emails.
Luckily there are ways of over coming this by resending your previous campaigns to those who have not open or clicked on links within the email.
This is called segmentation, find out more here: Create segments for MailChimp.
By going to Lists > Manage Subscribers > Segments you can select Campaign Activity from the drop down menu. Then select if they did not open or did not click, which ever you would like to do, we would recommend doing did not open as they didn’t even get to see the email content.
You can then select Preview Segment to see how many subscribers you have who do not open your emails.
Now select Save Segment and give your segment a name, then click Auto-Update.
To find your segment go to Campaigns and Replicate the one you want to resend. You will then be able to select your recipients.
Go Send to a saved segment and then select your segment from the dropdown list.
Doing this may lose subscribers as they will receive the email twice but if they are not interested they will unsubscribe, removing all the ‘dead-weight’ from your list.
