Export users to CSV

Exporting your users from WordPress is not a standard feature but is a very easy setup. When you start having people sign up to your WordPress website, it’s good to take the emails and import them to your email marketing service like MailChimp so you can send out bulk emails to promote a new product, offer or more.

To export the emails from WordPress and have them ready for MailChimp, they need to be a .CSV file. Again with WordPress it is as simple as installing a plugin.

Firstly go to your WordPress dashboard and select Plugins > Add New and type in Export users to CSV.

Once you select install, Active Plugin and you will find a new setting under Users > Export to CSV.

When you go into Export to CSV you will be able to select the role (subscriber, customer…) and then start/end date. Select Export and you will have a downloaded copy of your emails to import to, for example, MailChimp.
