01 Apr How to resize an image without Photoshop
Do you have an image or logo you want in a specific size for your website but don’t have any image editing software? Below we will teach you how to change your image and or logo dimensions.
1. Go to www.picresize.com
When you are on the website you will see this below:
Make sure you have the image saved on your computer, browse the file, upload it to the site and select Continue.
2.Crop and Rotate
Does your file need cropping or resizing? If so then you can do so here – very straight forward so we will let you get on with this part.
3. Resize your picture
Where it says “Make My Picture” – you can select different options but here you will need to select custom size.
Type in the new width dimensions and it will automatically set the height for you (estimated final). Do not change height as it will stretch or shrink the image. Skip special effects unless you wanted to add things like that.
4. File type
Now you have the option to save it in different formats. We recommend PNG for online as it comes out clearer than JPEG on certain websites, for example PNG works better than JPEG on Twitter.
Select I’m done and save it to your computer.
